The scheduled travel for the Hawaii shoot, according to Bowen, will be on November 26. For our friends at Hawaii, here are some potential filming locations for Catching Fire in Oahu. On the other hand, OLV has reported that the crew is done filming the Tribute Parade scene at the Atlanta Motor Speedway last week. Moreover, news has it that they are already filming the cornucopia scene at "the Beach" of Clayton County International Park.

Latest Catching Fire Set Photos Including Effie Trinket

A lot of Catching Fire set photos were scattered around Tumblr. These images were from catchingupdates.tumblr.com. The blog is pretty new but it provides us latest behind the scenes photos of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire set being currently filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. The photos include the Atlanta Motor Speedway, which will be the set for Tribute Parade. Also, it seems that we can now see Effie Trinket on a Reaping scene. I am quite unconvinced with the Effie photo because it appears to be edited or something.

Plus, actors Lenny Kravitz and Maria Howell share their bond with Woody Harrelson by posting photos at their Twitter and Facebook page, respectively.

Toby Jones: Catching Fire Script is Tremendous

ET has recently interviewed Toby Jones, who plays arena announcer Claudius Templesmith, about Catching Fire. The actor talked about "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" script, working with Stanley Tucci in front of a green screen and being part of a huge franchise.

ETonline: And then you have on-set photos coming out in the middle of production as paparazzi swarm the set. Now that it’s become such a successful and watched franchise, does makingCatching Fire feel any differently now than making The Hunger Games did.

Jones: Not so far. We’re blessed with, as we were on Harry Potter, lead actors who are amazingly grounded people. Jennifer [Lawrence] is amazingly grounded in the midst of all this to do. It must be unnerving and hard to relate to the amount of attention she generates. She and Josh [Hutcherson] seem very, very grounded. They’re getting down to the film like they did last time.

ETonline: As one of the few people who has read the Catching Fire script, what do you make of it?

Jones: It’s a bit of relief, I must say. I was worried it might just be repetitive, but it’s not. The script is just tremendous!

ETonline: Is it odd being a part of this massive production, yet pretty much only working with one other actor in front of a greenscreen?

Jones: Totally. But that’s how it felt doing [the voice of] Dobby as well. You come in as this satellite part of the film, so I only see Stanley [Tucci] in my scenes. These kinds of movies have so many different components; it’s about as different from doing The Girl as you could imagine.

District 6 Tribute Girl Talks About Being Part of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Megan Hayes, the Atlanta-based actress who will play as District 6's female tribute, has recently talked to Atlanta Midtown Patch about her part of the huge Hunger Games franchise. Here's an excerpt from her interview.

“I feel so lucky, so blessed and honored to be a part of this project,” Hayes recently told Patch. “The books are great, the actors are top notch, it’s really a dream job.” …

“I wish I could tell you more but I just can’t,” Hayes said, referring to the many non-disclosure contracts that she has signed. “What I can say is that it really hasn’t sunk in, but I feel humbled. I love being an actor. I love being a part of a project of such magnitude and can only hope that more opportunities like this will come down the road.”

Philip Seymour Hoffman Impressed with The Hunger Games Trilogy

Philip Seymour Hoffman, our very own head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee, expressed his appreciation to "The Hunger Games" books and being part of the film. Find out more about his interview with Telegraph UK.

Catching Fire, the second film in a franchise Hoffman admits he thought would be “crap” until he saw the first instalment, which was released to unexpected critical acclaim earlier this year.

“I was incredibly pessimistic, but then I read the books, and it was like, ‘pow’,” he enthuses. “I didn’t even know The Hunger Games was a big deal, but I’m incredibly impressed with it.

“My son is about to turn 10, so I bought him the books and I’m going to read them with him, if for no other reason than it’s the first time I’ve made a film that’s suitable for him.”

Jeffrey Wright Talks About Beetee with ABC

Jeffrey Wright has talked about his Catching Fire character Beetee in a recent interview with ABC via Yahoo. He is hoping that expectations from the second movie will be surpassed. Watch the video below and find out more.

“It’s really comforting,” Wright said about being a part of the cultural phenomenon. “When you make a movie, you hope that you will surpass peoples’ expectations.”

Wright plays Beetee in the second installment, “Catching Fire,” which is currently filming.

“[He] is one of the previous victors from the games,” Wright said. “He comes back in the 75th anniversary games, the Quarter Quell as it’s called and he participates again. But this time the games are used as a foil to advance other ideas.”

Liam Hemsworth Twisted His Knees While Filming Catching Fire in Georgia

-->USA Today has reported that Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale in "The Hunger Games" and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," has twisted his knees while filming the second film of the franchise in Georgia.

"I twisted my knee," Hemsworth says. "I try to just fight through it. There's so many people standing around waiting for you to do your thing. You feel sort of obligated not to let everyone down."

In fact, Hemsworth reports that his character, Gale, sidelined from the action in the first Hunger Games, really gets into the swing of things in Catching Fire.

"There's a bunch of action in this one," he vows. "All of the characters have much more action than they did in the first one."

The crew have been shooting in locations around Atlanta since September. While Josh Hutcherson vowed an even buffer Peeta in the new film, Hemsworth says his studly Gale is about the same as the original film. He did take some time before shooting started to "lose some weight" to get the proper look.

"It's The Hunger Games," he says. "My character needs to look hungry. A little bit."

Hemsworth has been going full throttle since last year's Hunger Games, moving from project to project. In fact, Hemsworth was in the process of completing his latest film, the corporate espionage thriller Paranoia, when he had to leave for Hunger Games. And he has to go back to Paranoia once he's finished in Georgia.

Hemsworth even found portions of his corporate thriller painful, especially during an all-night shoot in what the director describes as a rat-filled alley.

"I spent an entire night running through this alley splashing through alley water and all this gross stuff. A concrete alleyway and I'm in suit shoes," says Hemsworth. "I was so unlucky too. I turned up on set and on the first take I got the worst stomach cramps. And I had them the entire night. It's not that easy."

Hemsworth has been working hard.

"I haven't had a break in about a year," says Hemsworth. "I've kind of shot one film to the other. And have had to prepare for each while shooting another."

"It's been a tremendous workload," he adds. "But I feel so lucky to be where I am. I'm so thankful."

Elizabeth Banks Confirmed that Danny Strong Will Write the Screenplays for Mockingjay 1 and 2

--> Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie, in the Hunger Games trilogy, has confirmed on her blog about Danny Strong penning the screenplays for Mockingjay Part 1 and 2, which will be out in 2014 and 2015, respectively. In her post she says:

“Right now I’m filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but the powers that be are hard at work adapting book #3, Mockingjay.”

“Going Twilight-style, the third book will be split up into two movies, both written by Buffy alum Danny Strong.”

“He acts and writes! He wrote the HBO flicks Game Change and Recount, so tight, I can’t wait to see what he does with Mockingjay!”

If you haven't heard it yet, Danny Strong was indeed rumored to pen the scripts for the last two films of the franchise. We don't know if Lionsgate will be happy to hear about Elizabeth Banks spilling the beans without official confirmation from them first. Anyway, welcome to the Hunger Games fandom Sir Danny Strong.

Our friends at thehob.org, has reported that set construction is underway from GGX productions at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
