I personally created a separate post for this MainStayPro video since I love what they did on this scene. I love how Haymitch and Maysilee were played, especially Haymitch. The girl tribute on the opening scene is really touching and she looks like Abegail Breslin. The fighting scene between Haymitch and the Career tributes was awesome, it's like being produced by big film companies. Danielle Chuchran, who played Katniss on the previous MainStayPro clips (click this link to see her as Katniss) play here as a savage and fierce tribute girl from District 1. She played the character very well and she's really scary in this role.
By the way, for those who are unfamiliar with this, this scene is from the 2nd book of the Hunger Games trilogy, which is the Catching Fire. It's only mentioned on the second book when Katniss and Peeta watched the replays of the victors of the previous Hunger Games including their drunkard mentor Haymitch Abernathy. This is actually Haymitch's story and how he won the 2nd Quarter Quell (50th Hunger Games). Maysilee was the girl tribute of District 12, she's actually Madge's aunt, who personally own the mockingjay pin worn by Katniss on the 75th Hunger Games (Madge gave the pin to her as a symbol for their district). I think the events for the 2nd Quarter Quell had changed Haymtich life and how he became what he is when Katniss met him - always with his wine.
The actor playing Haymitch, who is James Gaisford, in this short clip can have a huge potential in auditioning for younger Haymitch in Catching Fire (if Lionsgate will decide to have that clip in flashback). Anyway, watch the video below and enjoy.
