Catching Fire Filming Update: Capitol Chocolates Delivered Plus More Set Pics from the Swan House

Here are some Catching Fire filming set pics for you guys. Mainly, these are from the Swan House, it will be President Snow's home in Catching Fire where a Victory Tour banquet will be held for Peeta and Katniss. Also, Tampa Bay Times has reported that Capitol chocolate (made by William Dean) for Catching Fire is already delivered on the set (perhaps in the Swan House). If you have read the books, I'm sure you already know that the banquet is full of delicious food and desserts - that Katniss and Peeta have not seen before.

Catching Fire Full Cast Revealed; Know The Mystery Woman

Lionsgate has finally revealed the full cast of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." The announcement was made through catchingfirecasting.com. A lot of fans have been disappointed to know that the mystery woman is none other than Mrs. Everdeen, Katniss' mother, which was and will continue be played by Paula Malcomson. So what's with Lionsgate? Why they decided to let the fandom go crazy over the mystery woman when it is only Mrs. Everdeen? I mean she is not a new character so why they hid her face since catchingfirecasting.com was made? I actually thought it was Annie and now I don't know how to picture the movie without her cameo or short appearance on the film. A lot of fans will be totally disappointment if Annie won't be featured when Finnick reads a short poem for her or maybe some flashbacks of her in the arena (the jabberjay attacks). Catching Fire to Film in Clayton County International Park

The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) has recently published an article on their website about the positive economic impact of filming Catching Fire on their state. The recent press release revealed that Catching Fire will be filmed in a man-made water park known as “The Beach” in Clayton County's International Park. "The Beach" was the beach volleyball venue for the 1996 Olympics. Accordingly, "The Beach" is already transformed for the Catching Fire set. The filming will took place from October to November 2012.

Here are a couple of images of "The Beach" at the Clayton County International Park from different sources. I do not own any of these images. Looking at the pictures, I can already see that they will film the Cornucopia bloodbath here.

New Photo of the Justice Building for Catching Fire Revealed

Jeff Holmes posted a pic on his Twitter of the almost finished Justice Building for Catching Fire in Atlanta. Previously, an image of an unfinished Justice Building has also spread on the net. You can see this picture here (at the bottom of the page). He revealed that the Reaping scene will be filmed at the Goat Farm. Jena Malone in the Thick for Catching Fire Training

MTV has chatted with Jena Malone, our very own Johanna Mason, during the 2012 Emmy Awards. She mentioned about her excitement and training for Catching Fire.

"I'm very excited as well, it's going to be great," Malone said. "I just love the books so much. I literally read all three in four days and just was crying at the end. I'm really, really excited to be a part of it."

As a fan of Suzanne Collins' bestselling trilogy, the 27-year-old "Sucker Punch" star clearly has an affinity for her tough-cookie character, though she didn't want to talk too much about why she loves playing Johanna.

"Yeah, we'll get into it when there's more to say," Malone said, before adding that she is in the midst of an intense training regimen to get prepared for all the various physical demands required of the role.

"Oh yeah, I'm in the thick of [training] but excited," she said. "I love that kind of stuff. 'Sucker Punch' kind of got me into a regimen and now I kind of crave it."

Woody Harrelson Talks Philip Hoffman, Jennifer Lawrence and Catching Fire

Woody Harrelson, who plays Haymitch in "The Huger Games" trilogy has talked to Broadway World about Catching Fire, Jennifer Lawrence, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

PC: Last question: what have you experiences like been so far working with your new HUNGER GAMES cast-mate Philip Seymour Hoffman - who has also done this column, incidentally?

WH: Oh, well, I am leaving tomorrow to go to Atlanta to film the new HUNGER GAMES, but I can tell you that there definitely will be some stuff that we have together in the next film. And, I think he is just one of the greats, so I am really looking forward to working with him.

PC: Do you two know each other through Paul Thomas Anderson? Have you and Philip ever worked together?

WH: We've never worked together, I don't think, but we’ve known each other for a while - and we’ve hung out a few times. He’s a real prince of a guy.

PC: From my experience, it seems that you both are so open and cool and really just all about the work.

WH: That’s really nice to hear, so I appreciate you saying it, man.

PC: Jennifer Lawrence is another co-star of yours who is poised to take Hollywood by storm.

WH: Oh, she’s so incredibly talented - yeah, she’s great. All of them are really great on THE HUNGER GAMES, so I am looking forward to getting back there to Atlanta.

PC: Does this look like it might be your career high next year with such hi-profile stage, small screen and big screen projects?

WH: [Laughs.] Well, you never know for sure about things like that, but I feel really great about how things are right now. Right now, I guess I feel like my main focus is still BULLET FOR ADOLF, but, soon, it will be all about CATCHING FIRE.

According to Comicbook.com (via Thenumbers.com), there were already 5,377,765 The Hunger Games DVD units sold, which makes for $93,211,176 in sales revenue.

At 5,377,765 DVD unit sold, The Hunger Games passed by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, which sits in the #2 spot with 5,223,078 DVD units sold. The Hunger Games DVD was released on August 18, 2012, while The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 DVD was released on February 11, 2012.

According to the recent tweet of Travis Clark, the front man of pop-punk band We the Kings (they collaborated with Demi Lovato in the song We'll be a Dream), they just wrote a song for "The Hunger Games." Here's a screenshot of his tweet.
