According to Bizjournals.com, Hawaii Film commissioners Donne Dawson and Walea Constantinau confirmed that "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will be filmed in Oahu, Hawaii before the end of the year. However, they didn't confirmed the specific locations (those that Russ Bowen tweeted about) for the filming.
“For security reasons, logistics reasons, we don’t confirm specific locations,” Dawson said.
