Jena Malone Talks About Johanna's Elevator Scene with USA Today

In a recent article from USA Today, Jena Malone was able to share how she managed to strip down in a short time while filming the famous "elevator" scene with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Woody Harrelson.

"It was a really fast elevator," she says. "At first, we'd get to the door opening, and I'd still be halfway dressed and falling out of the elevator.

"I realized I was going to need some time. I had to choreograph, because I had these bracelets and the whole zipper down the side of the outfit and then taking off the shoes," she adds. "It was literally like a six-second striptease. I became a really good burlesque dancer."

"I finally got all of the timing bits down," Malone says. "And as I turned to go, the elevator doors opened. And there was a guy holding two cups of coffee from Starbucks trying to get onto the elevator. I just walked out. I was like, 'OK, keep going!' And he was totally unfazed. It's like me, naked in all of Joanna's glory, and then Woody Harrelson, Jen (Lawrence) and Josh (Hutcherson) and the camera operator behind me."
"It was the best moment of my life," she adds.

Catching Fire Set Pranks: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and the Spider?

Josh Hutcherson, the king of pranks in "The Hunger Games" franchise, is back again with his favorite victim, none other than her onscreen love team Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen.

In a recent interview with Woody Harrelson (Haymitch), the actor shares about how Jennifer Lawrence freaked out when Josh Hutcherson came out with her with a real-looking spider.

“We had this real-looking spider. Josh (Hutcherson) came up behind her with the spider. She started screaming at the top of her lungs. We were on a big stage and she ran out screaming,” says Harrelson, still laughing about the incident. “She’s the funniest woman I know. I’m in a perpetual state of laughter with her, which is a pretty good way to be on set.”

I hope they got that on camera, that would be very funny to watch. I just hope that in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" DVD, they will include bloopers, deleted scenes, and more fun stuff.

Update: Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence are back to LA and it is assumed that filming in Atlanta has  wrapped up already. They will be heading to Hawaii to continue shooting the movie.

Jennifer Lawrence Proud of "The Hunger Games"

In a recent article published at USA Today, Jennifer Lawrence talked about The Hunger Games and her ambition of becoming a producer someday.

On The Hunger Games:

"It's so huge. It's why I almost didn't take the movie. It's a character that can very easily overpower the rest of my characters. I don't want to do something that's kind of similar. I haven't really done that many movies," she says.

"It's such an awesome things to be part of something that speaks to so many young kids about something that actually matters, about what one young person can actually do. I feel like I'm part of an important message and that feels good. It feels nice."

On Producing Movies in the future:

"I want to have a production company. Sometimes I read a script and wonder, how is this not being made? And I drive past the billboards and the movies that are being made – it's just so infuriating. I want to change that, hopefully. I've always wanted to direct," she says. "I'm decisive but I'm also insecure. That would make me a great director. (I'd say), 'This is definitely what I want. But wait. Is this what I want?'"

Josh Hutcherson Gets Even a Better Shape to Play Peeta in Catching Fire

Josh Hutcherson talks to USA Today and mentioned briefly on how he prepared the role of Peeta in The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.

"I'm getting in even better shape this time around," Hutcherson tells USA TODAY about the film, which begins production next month.

At the start of the follow-up to the wildly successful The Hunger Games, Peeta returns home a victor in the 74th gladiatorial event.

"After the games, Peeta would have been taking care of himself physically. And he's gone back to the village and is able to eat healthy," says Hutcherson. "So I've been training and getting ready for that."

Though don't expect to see a bodybuilder when Catching Fire hits screens on Nov. 22, 2013. "I'm keeping it in the realm of the first one," says Hutcherson.

For the first Hunger Games, Hutcherson put on 15 pounds of muscle to play Peeta, eating a diet of chicken, eggs and broccoli. He and co-star Liam Hemsworth also were "whipped" into shape by a Navy SEAL for weeks before shooting began.

"It was intense," Hutcherson said at the time. "It was tire flipping and dragging random stuff around. It was never like, 'let's go bench press.' "

For those not able to wait until 2013 for their next Hunger Games fix, the madness will begin all over again in a few weeks. The DVD release of the first film takes place midnight on Aug. 18. It includes Blu Ray/DVD bonus interviews including Hutcherson talking about his Hunger Games workouts.

Hutcherson knows he will have to service at least two big fans when the DVDs come out.

"My grandparents are going to want me to sign a bunch of copies (for friends)," he says. "I'm really excited for it."
