According to The Digital Bits, the DVD and Blu-ray release date for the Hunger Games movie will be on August 18, 2012. Find out what might be included in the Hunger Games DVD/Bluray in their statement below.
Retail sources are telling us to expect Lionsgate to release The Hunger Games on Blu-ray and DVD in the U.S. on 8/18. Expect an official announcement soon. There will be multiple SKUs and editions, including discs only, discs plus bonus swag and Target and Walmart retail exclusive versions as well. Expect several retailers to hold "Twilight like midnight release party" events around the country. Sounds like they're going to make a pretty big deal out of this one.
