Plutarch Heavensbee at the Capitol Couture Spotlight - New Still
In the recent entry of Capitol Couture, Third Quarter Quell (75th Hunger Games) head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee (to be portrayed by Philip Seymour Hoffman) has was able to share his ideas on the upcoming Games. Also, you get to see him and his fellow gamemakers in a new still.

Our favorite stylist Cinna (the man who set the Girl on Fire) has been featured on the latest post from Capitol Couture.
As Capitol Couture says:

When it was announced that he would be styling the tributes of District 12 in the 74th Hunger Games, many Capitol observers were confused; just who was this mysterious stylist taking over District 12 duties?
Yet for Cinna it was a chance to prove himself, and this unique opportunity has paid off in spades. After the unprecedented dual victory of Katniss and Peeta, he has become the Capitol’s most sought after designer, his iconic “girl on fire” dress quickly making him a household name. Capitol Couture Relaunches for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Effie Trinket on the Spotlight
If you have been following The Hunger Games fandom since last year, you have probably known the site Capitol Couture. It is a website that features the fashion of the Capitol. You can visit it at http://www.capitolcouture.pn. For the theatrical release of Catching Fire this November, the Capitol Couture has been relaunched. Effie Trinket, the flamboyant escort of District 12, has been featured. You can also see some designers including Tris Summerville. You can also see the portraits of the victors/tributes for the 75th Hunger Games or the Third Quarter Quell.

Find Out Who Designed Effie's Dress in Catching Fire
The designer of Effie's lavender dress in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was revealed in a recent report from Entertainment Weekly. The designer is none other than Alexander McQueen. The outfit was part of the Fall 2012 colletion of the popular fashion house.
“The future’s usually shown as stark and cold. I wanted lightness, the sense that the dresses were hovering,” McQueen creative director Sarah Burton told Style.com when the collection debuted last March. Burton used voluminous shapes and patterns that would organically “explode” as the runway show progressed as a means of celebrating “a beautiful future, positivity, optimism.”

Who's portrait will be next? Will we be able to see Portia and the rest of the stylists? Or perhaps President Snow or the newly appointed head gamemaker Plutarch? I was actually surprised to see Haymitch! You know, I actually expect that only people from the Capitol will be featured like last year.

Capitol Couture Portraits - Effie and Caesar
Guys, here are the portraits released by Capitol Couture. Do you remember the one with the chair with the hashtage #ladiesfirst? The date mentioned was March 4 and so the first portrait to appear was Effie Trinket sitting on the green chair! The next one was Caesar Flickerman sitting on a old whitish chair. I was totally shocked with the hair! It feels like the hair was kissed by Nicki Minaj! Anyway, take a look at the portraits below.

Capitol Couture Coming Soon for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
In case you are unaware, Capitol Couture is a Tumblr website featuring the fashion and the elegance of "The Capitol" in "The Hunger Games" series. As a refresher, Capitol Couture gave us profiles of well known Capitol citizens like Katniss' stylist Cinna, her escort Effie, and the head gamemaker of the 74th Hunger Games Seneca Crane.
As you can see, the site cannot be accessed yet. However, if you notice something like a pattern and then if you click on the mouse (left click & hold it) and follow the pattern, an image of a chair will come up. This is the same image that was posted on the official Capitol Couture instagram account at http://instagram.com/CapitolCouture.
The image comes with the text: “Always Elegant. Always Prompt. Join us on March 4. #LadiesFirst
We expect something good to come by March 4th! Are you excited?

All entries for this challenge must be submitted by March 18th through the submission form on CapitolCouture.PN.
The winner of District Style Challenge #2 will receive a MAC gift card,
and there are still nine District Stylist spots to fill (three Stylists were named this morning).
As a reminder, this is one of five District Style Challenges that
will be issued between now and March 18th, where citizens will be asked
to submit Capitol-themed photos. One grand prize winner will be selected

Hunger Games Animated GIF - Effie in Action with Peeta, Katniss, and Haymitch from Capitol Couture
Yesterday, CapitolCouture has opened officially. The admins of the website already published some posts like their search for the next District 12 stylist. Anyway, I reposted the animated gif featuring Effie, Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch (Effie is on the spotlight with her beautiful shoes). Based on this animated gif, Haymitch is drunk again (as usual). They are heading off to the elevator and I guess the scene maybe before the Tribute Parade. Peeta and Katniss are wearing their tribute attire, you know the tight black suit. I am super excited to see how the film will interpret Katniss' Girl on Fire costume during the parade. Whew. Anyway, here is the animated GIF.
I hope Capitol Couture will have lots of contests that will let fans win fabulous Capitol fashion items or premiere tickets perhaps. That would be great!

Hunger Games Fashion Tips and Trends at CapitolCouture.pn
Lionsgate has introduced another marketing strategy for the Hunger Games mania. This time, the capitolcouture.pn website was launched in celebration to the 74th day before the big premiere of the Hunger Games movie, however, it's not yet active. Why 74th? Well, if you've read the books, you'll know that the first book revolves around the story of Katniss and Peeta during the 74th Hunger Games, make sense?
Accordingly, Capitol Couture (which is represented by Effie's face (Elizabeth Banks)), will provide tips and trends of the Capitol fashion. So expect to see more tips from Effie and Caesar Flickerman (the Ryan Seacrest of the Capitol). I suppose they're going to talk more about the Capitol Colours, a series of nail polish products inspired by the trilogy.
