Hunger Games DVD and Blu-ray Release Date Notification

Okay, so the Hunger Games movie is not yet out in the silver screen but the people from Amazon have stated on their online store that they will notify members if the DVD and Blu-ray copies are out. This can be a very great time to secure a copy from this film for collection. Most of the time, the DVD/Blu-ray release of the movie is several months away from the world premiere, so expect that the copies will be of the second half of 2012, depending on Lionsgate's plans.

Update: Lionsgate has announced that they will release the DVD/Bluray copy of the Hunger Games movie five months (instead of the usual four months) from the day it was released on the big screen. Basically, let's expect to get our copies by August 23, 2012. (source) 

Update: The official release date for the Hunger Games DVD and Bluray will be on August 18, 2012 in the U.S. Pre-order starts on May 25, 2012. You may pre-order your copies at Walmart, Target and Amazon.
